报告人简介Wei Huang is an Associate Professor at University of Oxford, Fellow of St Edmund Hall College Oxford and Fellow of EPSRC on synthetic biology in the UK. His research interests are single cell biotechnology and synthetic biology. He is one of the pioneers who have utilised Raman micro-spectroscopy for the study of single cells and develop Raman activated cell sorting technology. He versioned that single cell Raman spectra can be regarded as single cell phenotypic profiles, indicating cell physiology and linking cells and their metabolic activities and functions. The sorted cells can be processed for single cell genomics and proteomics.
